R&D background

With the development of drilling technology, it has become inevitable to extract oil and gas from deep formations. As deep and ultra deep wells are being exploited, the temperature inside the well gradually increases and the pressure gradually increases. For three types of oil reservoirs with temperatures exceeding 80 degrees Celsius and mineralization exceeding 30000mg/L, chemical flooding faces significant challenges. High temperature and high salinity can cause polymer polymer polymer chains to curl, reduce the viscosity of the injection fluid, affect the oil displacement effect, and cannot meet the needs of deep well oil recovery. Therefore, various oil fields urgently need high-temperature resistant series of polyacrylamide.

Technical approach

A high-temperature and salt resistant polymer is obtained by copolymerization of hydrolysis resistant monomers and functional temperature and salt resistant monomers with acrylamide.

It is suitable for oil displacement and drilling in ultra deep wells, geothermal, shale gas and other ultra-high temperature and medium permeability reservoirs.
